You'll join our IT team as the bridge between the business and engineering. We translate what the business needs into things our IT team can actually build — and we push back when something doesn't add up technically. You'll thrive here if you enjoy getting into how systems really work and bringing people into alignment without leaning on a title to do it.
About the role
This role sits in IT — not in a business department. You bring genuine IT engineering knowledge into the conversation with the business: a real understanding of how systems work, how architectures and data flows are structured, and what the technical consequences of a requirement actually are. That foundation is what makes the role work. It lets you challenge both what the business is asking for and what the IT team proposes as a solution — and assess feasibility yourself instead of routing every question to engineering.
Delivery ownership and SLA accountability sit with the IT Manager / IT Leiter. Your job is to make sure that on the way there, the right things get built — grounded in business need and technically sound.
Your responsibilities
- Capture requirements from business stakeholders, challenge them technically, and turn them into clear specs, epics, and acceptance criteria with real technical depth
- Assess feasibility and technical impact yourself — without looping in engineering for every question
- Structure and prioritize the functional backlog, and bring requirements to a clear, testable, build-ready state
- Drive adoption of what ships: spot change impact early, create clear rollout materials, and gather feedback to fine-tune
- Prepare business cases and option comparisons that ground decisions in business value, technical effort, and risk
